John Byrd was born about 1620 in Broxton, Cheshire, England and died 1677 in London, Middlesex, England.

He married Grace Stegge. She was born about 1625 in London, Middlesex, England and died 1690. She was the daughter of Thomas Stegge and Elizabeth.

Their children were:
